For this franchise, Davignon Martin was hired to develop a set of standards so that each location is planned from a kit of parts. All aspects of the work need to be conceptualized so that components are predesigned and documented, including finishes and fixture, and mill worked elements pre-design to beadjustable to fit each location. Accordingly, each new location is finished with a space treatment that accepts the plan and the pre-design components.
The components allow for a fast process of construction, once the plan is established for a new location, the architectural and interior design portion is quickly integrated to a mechanical and electrical layout and permit swiftly obtained.
Highly durable finishes for ease of cleaning and maintenance
A conceptual keyed prototype
Custom millwork elements to be reusable
Maximum efficiency and storage
In its final form, the space is comfortable and charming. Framed elements provide frescos and seating while organizing the seating plan. Functional items such as the recycling stations as well as the order counters become part of the street of this retail space. The remainder of the space is textured with a warm patterned floor and large feature objects such as the Tuk-Tuk wagon and traditional hanging fixtures.
Lead / Prime Architect responsible for all interior design related functions on this project, including drafting, permit application and procurement, and construction administration.
